Our Wedding

Our story began with a simple swipe that turned into something special.&nbsp;From our first brunch in West Hollywood in 2021 (masks and all) to long walks in the Palisades Park, where Mat would later propose, our story has been full of laughter, love, and a few perfectly shaken martinis. Mat is our calm and steady captain, and Shelley is our creative hostess of the mostest and chef extraordinaire. We bring warmth and fun to each other’s lives. Together, we love traveling—whether it’s Rio, Argentina, or a quick escape to Los Olivos—discovering new restaurants (and returning to favorites like R&amp;D), and strolling along beach piers wherever we find them. We’ve built a full life of laughter, love, and adventure. We can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter with our family and friends!

AirportsFor our wedding in San Clemente, California, the two main airports to consider are Los Angeles International (LAX) and John Wayne Airport (SNA). John Wayne Airport (SNA) is about 20–25 minutes from San Clemente and is the closest and most convenient option for domestic travelers. Los Angeles International (LAX) is about 1.5–2 hours away, depending on traffic, and is best for international guests or those seeking more flight options.

Dress Code: Formal — Pastels &amp; Florals Encouraged We invite guests to dress in formal attire for our celebration. Soft colors, pastels, and floral prints are especially encouraged to complement our wedding colors and Spring season. 🌷 For WomenFloor-length gowns and dresses in light, romantic fabrics such as chiffon, silk, or satin. Dressy heels, sandals, or refined flats are perfect. Kindly avoid wearing white. 🤵🏻‍♂️ For MenSuits or tuxedos with a dress shirt and tie. Lighter suit colors like gray, blue, or tan are wonderful choices, and pastel or floral accents are welcome.
